From Classroom to Global Exhibition: The Hands-On Training Journey of Kaihua Business School

TIME : 2026/6/17 8:33:02

Beneath the dome of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), CHINAPLAS 2026 grandly kicked off. Rubber and plastics technologies, mold solutions and intelligent equipment from across the globe converged here, forming a continuous industry feast. Within the vast exhibition halls, the booth of Kaihua Molds stood out with a group of bright young faces from Zhejiang Yuexiu University of Foreign Languages — students of the Kaihua Business School, stepping into a real industrial scene with eagerness beyond their textbooks.

This was no superficial exhibition tour, but a well-designed practical training session. This single trip bridged the gap between campus and exhibition hall, academic theories and industry practices.

Upon entering the venue, bustling crowds coexist with neat arrangements. Kaihua Moulds’ booth is understated yet exudes steady professionalism.

Daniel Liang, Chairman of Kaihua Moulds, walked the students through the fundamentals of the mould industry. This seemingly quiet manufacturing field is the hidden cornerstone of modern industry. Behind every delicate industrial product, from automotive panels to curved home appliance shells, lies a precise, sophisticated mould.

CHINAPLAS 2026 serves as the global benchmark for rubber, plastics and mould industries. Daniel Liang led the students to learn about Kaihua Moulds’ development and profound industry transformations. Abstract textbook concepts such as automation, lightweighting and digitalization became tangible via physical exhibits and technical solutions on display. From high-efficiency multi-cavity moulds to moulding techniques for complex structures, Kaihua Moulds delivers powerful technical strength without overstatement.

Kaihua Moulds’ core competitiveness lies not only in production scale, but also superior product precision, extended service lifespan and on-time delivery. The unseen fine details are what set us apart from competitors. Standing at the booth, the students observed more than just products — they witnessed a complete industrial system put into practice.

While Daniel Liang shared the big-picture industry outlook and Kaihua Moulds’ core advantages, Will Lin opened up a brand-new perspective for the students.

Instead of reciting abstract foreign trade theories from textbooks, he brought students to the frontlines of the exhibition and shared core on-site skills for overseas sales staff: booth selection, professional etiquette, product presentation scripts, identifying high-value clients, and conveying corporate value within minutes.

He also detailed the full exhibition workflow: morning booth setup, targeted client reception during opening hours, and evening review meetings, with every step closely linked and requiring full dedication. Abstract textbook terms including “client development” and “exhibition marketing” became vivid and easy to understanding.

Next, Manager Xu of the Logistics & Sales Department, a 2012 team member of Kaihua Moulds and International Trade graduate of Zhejiang Yuexiu University of Foreign Languages, shared her career growth and career planning tips as both a senior alumna and industry practitioner.

She frankly stated that language skills are merely a basic entry requirement for foreign trade in the mould sector. Real core competitiveness stems from in-depth understanding of product craftsmanship, accurate control of production cycles, and hands-on ability to resolve client issues. Expert knowledge learned from textbooks opens the door to the industry, while continuous learning, accountability and teamwork are the core pillars of long-term career development.

In her opinion, every exhibition tour acts as a mini practical drill for professional conduct. Tiny details such as personal manners, punctuality, product expertise and communication rhythm together shape an overseas salesperson’s professional image. Professional standards are rooted in sincere respect: respect for cross-border time zones, diverse cultural differences across global markets, and every hard-earned communication opportunity with clients.

The most inspiring segment of the event was the Q&A session. The students let go of their shyness and raised genuine questions about industry trends, textbook doubts, career confusion and future aspirations. The Kaihua Moulds team avoided generic, perfunctory replies and answered every question sincerely, patiently and thoroughly. Every answer draws from real industry experience, reflecting the company’s respect and high expectations for young talents.

At that moment, the booth transformed from a simple product display area into a temporary classroom and a bridge connecting textbook learning to real work.

At the end of the training, all participants took a group photo in front of Kaihua Moulds’ booth. The camera shutter captured far more than a group photo — it froze a precious moment of real growth. The students may not realize it now, but years later, this day will remain a gentle, inspiring beacon in their memories.

From campus to enterprise, classrooms to exhibition halls, the original mission of Kaihua Moulds and Kaihua Business School goes far beyond a simple exhibition visit. We aim to fully display the full industry landscape, corporate culture and career paths for young students, lighting the way for their professional futures.

Moulds themselves are silent, yet manufacturing carries human warmth. And the future quietly sprouts within every down-to-earth practical training and exhibition tour like this.
