In 2024, Kaihua Mold's integrated smart factory was selected for Zhejiang Province’s Future Factory cultivation list, thanks to its forward-thinking approach in intelligent manufacturing. This recognition not only affirms the company’s past efforts but also marks a new phase in its advanced digital transformation. To further strengthen its smart factory development, CEO Daniel Liang recently led Kaihua’s core management and digital team on an in-depth study tour to four industry-leading smart manufacturing enterprises: Jack Technology Co., Ltd, Tianneng Holding Group Co., Ltd., Shinmaywa Pump (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd., and Zhejiang Headman Machinery Co., Ltd..
The study tour focused on cutting-edge concepts and practical experience in future factory development. These four Taizhou-based enterprises each excel in unique aspects of smart manufacturing, serving as highly representative case studies. The Kaihua team conducted in-depth visits to corporate exhibition halls and production floors, gaining firsthand insights through on-site observations and interactive discussions. Key learning areas included automated production line upgrades, digital management of manufacturing processes, data-driven decision-making, and innovative integration of lean manufacturing with smart technologies.
During the study tour, the Kaihua team gained profound insights into the remarkable achievements and solid progress made by these industry leaders in their digital transformation journeys. At each site visit, team members meticulously documented observations and actively engaged in Q&A sessions to fully absorb the best practices. This learning experience has strengthened the team's consensus on future factory development and helped identify key focus areas for subsequent implementation efforts.
